After analyzing millions of member check-in data across 2,873 gyms, sports clubs and boutique fitness centers over the course of three months, The International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) and MXM, a technology and knowledge transfer company specializing in member tracking within the fitness industry, conclusively found that fitness facilities are safe and are not contributing to the spread of COVID-19. Tahoe Mountain Fitness Health & Safety Guidelines 2020.
We are following CA and Nevada County Guidelines and we ask that you help us keep our TRIBE safe. We deeply care about our community and our goal is to prevent transmission of COVID-19. Muchas Gracias.
If you are experiencing ANY sort of COVID-19 symptoms (i.e. cough, temperature, etc.) please stay home. Be ready to answer a short series of COVID questions. We may also take your temperature upon entry. If you show signs of COVID-19 you will be asked to leave the premises. If you are pre-registered for a class & you are experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms, please preferable text (or call) the TMF front desk 530-412-3548. DO NOT COME TO THE CLUB. Any potential late cancellation fees will have the possibility of being waived, at the sole discretion of TMF.
Please wear a mask to TMF. We ask that you wear a mask into TMF and wear a mask until you have reached your designated workout space. Mask should be worn at anytime that you leave your designated workout space, ie. to use restroom during class, to leave class early, etc.
Your designated workout space will allow a minimum of 6 feet between each class participant. We ask that you stay within your designated workout space during class. 6 ft visual indicators will very per studio, i.e. in Group X, red floor tape will indicate each designated workout space, in Pilates Reformer, every other reformer will be empty, in room rde, bikes will be placed accordingly.
For classes that require equipment, i.e. all cycle, strength training/ BodyPump/ CXWorx, pilates reformer, boxing, etc, your equipment will be thoroughly cleaned & sanitized by TMF staff before class. Please be respectful of other participants’ space and equipment and do not touch other participants’ equipment. After completion of class/ session, please leave all equipment in your area & exit the club. After all participants have exited the studio space, TMF staff will thoroughly clean & sanitize equipment and space.
Class sizes will be limited as per 6 foot guidelines. We highly recommend that you pre-register for classes. Please be aware of our 12 hour cancellation policy as well as our full terms & conditions listed on our website.
We ask that you respect your fellow TMF Tribesters’ space. A minimum of 6 feet distance shall be maintained by all Tribesters while in the club and marked spaces on the floor in lobby, hallways, etc. will indicate appropriate spacing between.
WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN AND LET’S HAVE SOME GOOD SWEATY FUN!
If there is any type of behavior or activity that is not appropriate or does not follow these guidelines at TMF, please feel free to report to TMF staff.
If you are not ready to workout in a class setting, know that we offer private training, i.e. personal training, pilates reformer sessions, boxing training, karate lessons, etc. We also offer small group/partner private training. If you would like to use the boxing/ heavy bag studio to train independently, please contact TMF front desk. You are welcome to box at anytime the boxing studio is not being used for classes/ private sessions. Please ask TMF staff for more information on any of this.
Our restroom & showers will be fully open. We have installed a touch-less hand dryer to eliminate some surface touch. Please be respectful of each others’ space while using restrooms/showers. Restrooms and showers will be cleaned & sanitized often. Retail area will be fully open. The “lounge” in the lobby has been eliminated at this time. We will create outdoor areas for safe Tribester lounging.
