NEW STUDENT

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

  1. Take advantage of our New Student Promos. We offer 100+ classes per week! Access our current class schedule, read class descriptions, purchase class passes, and then sign up for classes, special events and workshops.​
     

  2. New to all of this? Has it been a long time or you've never worked out in a class setting before? Then come in and complete a Critical Analysis with one of our Certified Trainers. Includes a Postural Assessment, Equipment Tutorial & Fitness Plan Orientation. Available for Pilates Reformer and Fitness Classes. Use our contact form or call 530-412-3548 to schedule.
     

  3. Arrive 10-15 minutes early. Always check in with your instructor, even if you’ve made an online reservation. Always sign in!
     

  4. Wear comfortable fitness clothing. Layers help with temperature changes during & after class. If you are participating in one of our cardio based classes, like Les Mills Body Combat, we suggest bringing a quick change of clothing for after class, because you will be very sweaty!
     

  5. Turn off your cell phone. This enhances your experience and is a polite gesture to your fellow students.
     

  6. Notify the teacher of injuries or medical conditions. This helps the teacher know how to assist you and give you modifications.
     

  7. Workout often. This is one of the amazing benefits of joining our club! You can workout, practice Pilates and karate all in one location with our amazing staff! You can even take multiple classes in one day without overexertion if you are mixing up your routine with different class styles and types. If you need help deciding what kind of schedule would be appropriate for you and your goals, please contact Holly and she can point you in the right direction.
     

  8. Support your practice by allowing yourself to experience a Private Pilates Reformer session, Private Karate session, or a Personal Training Session. Spend an hour with an expert teacher and have them cater the practice or the workout to fit your needs. Take these tips into a group class so you can flow like the rest of them!   9. And a little extra love to the body never hurt anyone! Balance your life with healthy eating, lots of water and fun​
