Holly and Jon at Tahoe Mountain Fitness care about their members on an individual basis and this shows up in simple things like a quick text from Holly asking “how are you doing?” They keep it personal. I benefited from one-on-one Pilates classes with Jon who helped me get through moderate scar tissue stiffness after a total knee replacement. He knows his stuff! My knee is more flexible now and I have no pain. Nikolett carried on with a handful of personal training sessions dedicated to my needs. I have been working with Holly at Tahoe Mountain Fitness for two years now. I am a 48 year old runner and cyclist who has never seriously pursued strength and conditioning training. I had tried out a few trainers in the past that gave plans to be used at the gym, but they lacked the variety and sport specificity that I needed so I never really stuck with it. Holly was recommended to me and I took a chance and gave her a try as a personal one-on-one trainer. I have seen performance and physical results that I had not previously imagined possible for myself! When I see pics of myself in my 20s and 30s, I looked soft, but now I maintain muscle tone that is readily apparent, all year around.

As a personal trainer Holly has a vast knowledge of strength and conditioning training, and an extensive exercise library for all experience levels. Holly is professional, conscientious, easy to understand and carefully listens to my training needs and concerns. She customizes every single workout based on my specific needs. She works around my niggles, and at the same time targets muscle strengthening for future injury prevention. Holly's work ethic is totally inspirational, and rubs off towards achieving my own goals. During these difficult times, training has been the only constant that has provided more physical and mental return on my time investment than anything else.
