Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga, Fitness & Education
Flow Yoga (Prenatal Friendly)
The nature of pregnancy itself is a yogic state- a state of union. The profound union between mother and baby naturally shifts a woman’s attention inward. This shift inward can be promoted through a strong practice involving pranayama, visualization & meditation, chanting, and both strengthening & stretching the physical body. This class will increase energy and vitality, as well as soften, surrender and deeply relax the body and the mind. Emphasizing breathwork, opening the heart and hips, listening to one’s body and connecting with baby will support and prepare the women for the ever-changing needs of all stages of pregnancy, delivery, and beyond. Women will gain confidence in their ability to give birth and mother their newborn child as they learn to trust their powerful inner voice. Practicing prenatal yoga is an empowering experience and is a wonderful time for mommies-to-be to come together and support one another.
These classes are appropriate for all experience levels. And of course daddies and partners-to-be are welcome to accompany mommy!
